Our Story
We Didn't Set Out to Open a Laundromat. We Set Out to Fix One.
Like a lot of great ideas, Ta'Da Laundry Co. started with frustration. Our founders were tired of dingy, broken-down laundromats that smelled bad, charged too much, and treated customers like an afterthought. They were tired of drop-off services that lost clothes, returned them damp, or folded them carelessly. They were tired of delivery services with no communication and no accountability.
So they built something different. Ta'Da Laundry Co. opened its doors in Chicago, IL with one straightforward mission: make laundry the easiest, most painless part of your week. Not just tolerable — actually good. The kind of good where you drop off a bag of wrinkled chaos and pick up something that makes you feel like you have your life together.
The name Ta'Da says it all. It's that moment of relief and delight when the work is done and everything looks exactly right. We wanted every interaction — whether you're using our coin-op machines, dropping off a bag, or having us come to your door — to end with that feeling.
Today, we're proud to serve thousands of Chicagoans every week across Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, Logan Square, Lakeview, and neighborhoods all across the city.
